Roommate Needed; Room Avail by 12/1

I live at the Regency Apartments right next to I-205 with a straight shot up to WSU campus. My current roommate has been transferred at work and will be out by the end of the month. This is a very, very nice 2br/2ba. You can look up amenities right here: Very close to shopping and WA 14 and I-205. Minutes to Portland and about 10-15 mins to WSU campus. Right next to the 14, so minutes to downtown Vancouver as well. Great location.

I currently have the master bed and bath, and pay a slightly higher portion of the rent, but would consider switching. As is, your portion would be $500/mo plus half utilities, which is around $50 or so. No cable is provided, but there will be high speed internet which I will set up once my roommate's has terminated. There are no pets here currently, but I'm willing to consider them as long as they are well-mannered, cared for, and accepted by the apartment management. Any and all pet-related expenses/deposits/damage would be your responsibility. There is an assigned carport which will be yours to utilize since my favored spot is one of the undesignated parking spaces, and the patio storage will be pretty much all yours as well. Lots of space in this apartment.

I'm easy to get along with and pretty quiet, keeping mostly to myself, although not anti-social. I'm looking for someone clean, financially responsible, and drug-free. I have no problem with visitors and occasional parties as long as nothing violates the apartment rules and regulations. I also have four children, mostly teens, part time who occasionally stay weekends (not usually all at the same time). I have no preference regarding whether you're a single person or a couple sharing a room. The lease is month-to-month and you would have to qualify through the leasing office and be added to the lease, but this process normally only takes one to three days, depending on how quickly rental references are verified. They may require a deposit depending on your qualifications.

Please contact me if interested.

Room For Rent

Apartment located in the 4100 block of St. Johns Rd approx. 7 miles from WSUV and on a bus line.  Available immediately, room approx. 110 sq/ft  in a 950 sq/ft two bed one bath apartment. Rent is $375 each, plus $50 application fee. Utilities shared, $25 each for internet and approx $54 each for electricity. I am willing to sign up for equal pay on electricity if you don't want the uncertainty of a changing electric bill.  No television subscription, but I have a Roku with Amazon Prime Video, Hulu Plus, and Netflix. You'll be added to the existing month to month lease.  I'd like someone who's looking to stay for at least a year, not looking for a short term situation.   There isn't a lot of storage! But the apartment has a patio, washer/dryer on-site, is fully decorated and furnished with the exception of your room, and we will share a bathroom. There is only one parking space for the apartment and it is currently mine. There is decent street parking and we can negotiate for the parking space if it is important to you. I have two indoor cats named Pisces and The Dude. There are no dogs allowed in upstairs units, and no smoking OF ANY KIND in or around the apartment.

About me: I'm a full time+ electrical engineering junior at WSUV and I have about 3 years left to go since I am going after a computer science minor and a math minor in addition to my regular course work. I also work part time, so I'm gone until 9pm most week days and home on the weekends. I'm probably the easiest person in the world to live with. I may not wash a dish right after I use it, but I keep the place looking pretty good. I'm a friendly, happy person slowly cultivating a positive happy space and self. When I am not studying, I am building robots and rockets, designing new toys, playing video games, meditating, cultivating my green space and working out. A pretty typical Zen Super Nerd. I don't have friends over often but we do have study sessions every now and then. Study session isn't code for anything either I am talking straight up physics and math fest (be prepared :-P )! Friends and boyfriends\girlfriends are always welcome over, but if you are someone whose boyfriend\girlfriend stays over every single night, this is probably NOT the place for you (be honest about this!).

About you:  Honest, easy-going, able to pay your bills on time, capable AND willing to clean up after yourself, show respect and consideration for others, know how to communicate and just be a good person in general.

SO: If you're interested, send me an email and tell me about yourself! I'm excited to hear from you!
