ROAR Program for Families and Parents of New Students

WSU Vancouver recognizes the support and assistance you provide your student. The transition to college impacts you as well as your student and we have designed a program just for you.
You are encouraged to attend the June or July ROAR Family Program that runs concurrent to the afternoon ROAR: Advising & Registration sessions. This is the only program offered to family/parents of new freshman and transfer students.
Family program
Share in the excitement of a new campus. Enjoy discussions and programs just for you. At ROAR, you can expect to:
- Interact with faculty and administration, including financial aid experts
- Gain a better understanding of family/student rights and expectations
- Explore WSU Vancouver's campus
- Find answers to many of your questions
- Meet other parents/family of college students
The ROAR Family Program is offered at two different times. Parents and family members are only able to attend the ROAR Family Program. ROAR Advising and Registration sessions are for incoming freshman students only.
Session times and reservations are not currently available; please check back as early as March for session details and agendas.
The ROAR Family Program is not designed for incoming students. New students must sign up for the appropriate ROAR program at the following link. Go back to the main ROAR page.
