WSU Vancouver’s Week of Welcome serves to help you ease into second semester if you’re returning and get off to a smooth start if you’re joining us for the first time this semester. Whether you’re a new or returning student, Week of Welcome can answer burning questions and offers up some fun before we dig into the semester.
We can help!
Look for anyone wearing a bright blue Week of Welcome
t-shirt or a crimson “Ask Me” badge.
These members of our campus community have volunteered to answer your questions. From parking permits to adding a class or finding your way around campus, these people will point you in the right direction.
You can also drop by the “Ask Me” table Monday – Thursday, in front of the library.
The table is staffed by Student Ambassadors who are trained to answer almost any university-related question. You can pick up a campus map too!
Looking for events and activities?
Check the electronic reader board on the north side of the Firstenburg Student Commons. You can also check the online events calendar available on the WSU Vancouver home page, check OrgSync, pick up the latest copy of the VanCougar, check out the campus bulletin boards, watch for A-frame signs posted around campus, or stop by the Office of Student Involvement. You might also check out the Recreation Office for discounted rentals, trips and events.
