Marquee Diversity Events bring nationally recognized speakers/performers to campus each year. The events serve to bring issues of diversity, social justice and multiculturalism to our community. Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service

Monday, January 16, 2012 - EVENT PASSED

The Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service brings together students, staff, faculty and community members to engage in a variety of community service activities in the Vancouver area. This event serves to honor Dr. King's legacy of service and coincides with thousands of other service projects taking place around the country on the same day. MOSAIC is a free campus visitation program which serves to increase college access and promote leadership among students. MOSAIC participants will experience a variety of engaging activities that include faculty and student-led lectures, dynamic speakers, and will learn more about how to prepare and pay for college. Students will have the opportunity to interact with WSU Vancouver students, staff and faculty, as well as meet other students from local high schools. More information about MOSAIC.

Students and their families are invited to Latino Family College Night. Come to learn about preparing for college, paying for college, and challenges concerning students and families. The entire event will take place in Spanish. More information about Noche de Familia.
