Steps to testing

Please read each of the following six steps carefully:

1. Requesting your exam

Depending on the distance learning program you are in, you may be able to order several or all of your exams to be sent at one time.

WSU Students:

  • WSU Online (DDP) students must request that the exams be sent to the WSU Vancouver Exam Proctoring Center in the SRC through MyDDP in order to have their exam proctored at this location. You can access the WSU Online (DDP) web pagefor more information. You can also contact WSU Online (DDP) in Pullman at (800) 222-4978.

Non-WSU Students:

  • The first step is to contact your distance learning program to determine if they require a "Test Proctor Agreement Form". If needed, you can email src@vancouver.wsu.edu or fax (360-546-9240) the form to us. We will complete the form and return it to your institution.

Rescheduling your testing appointment & the cancellation policy

We try to be flexible with rescheduling student testing appointments. However, in order to serve as many students as possible, if a student cannot keep a scheduled testing appointment, the appointment must be rescheduled or canceled. Reschedules or cancellations need to be completed with the Student Resource Center during office hours (Mon-Fri 8am-5pm) by email or phone before the scheduled exam. You will know that your testing appointment has been successfully rescheduled or canceled when you receive a confirmation email. If you do not receive this confirmation email, you must contact the Student Resource Center by calling (360) 546-9155. After three missed appointments where a student does not arrive for a scheduled testing appointment and has not previously rescheduled or canceled, the student will be charged an additional $15.00 before being eligible to test again.

Exam proctoring center closures due to weather

In the event of inclement weather, if WSU Vancouver classes are canceled, exam proctoring will also be canceled. You can check the current status of our campus by going to the WSU Vancouver home page. A notice will be posted if the campus is closed.
