How to create an employer account associated with your student account

Step 1

Sign up as an Employer using the exact same credentials that you used to create your student account.

You will be asked to authenticate your password. This is the same password that you just created or confirmed.

Fill out all the required information on the next page and when you are finished click "Next: Employer Guidelines" to move on.

Step 4

Read the Handshake Employer Guidelines and answer the following question. After you finish that, click the "Next: Confirm Email" tab to receive a confirmation email.

Step 5

When you receive this message, navigate to the email account you signed up with and click "Confirm Email" inside the message from Handshake to confirm your email.

Step 6

Once you confirm your email, on the next page locate "WSU Vancouver Student Employment" and click on "Request." Afterwards, click "Next: Connect to Schools."

Step 7

You should then see the "Pending approval" message. *Please note that it may take 24 – 48 hours for your request to be accepted.
