There are two deadlines this year—know yours.
If you will be enrolled at any WSU campus on Sept. 3, 2016 for any number of credits.
- Your FAFSA or WASFA must be filed by Nov. 30, 2016. Submit all Financial Aid Additional Information Requests by Feb. 15, 2017.
Otherwise, your FAFSA or WASFA must be filed by Jan. 31, 2017. Submit all Financial Aid Additional Information Requests by March 15, 2017.

Use the IRS Data Retrieval Tool (DRT) to update your income information in the 2016/17 FAFSA to allow easier financial aid processing of your 2017/18 FAFSA.
Family financial changes?
If your family has had or is expecting a change in financial situation since filing the 2017/18 FAFSA and 2015 tax information, you will have the opportunity to request a financial review by submitting a Special Circumstances Appeal with the WSU Student Financial Services office.
The appeal form and instructions will be available in early 2017.
