As a WSU Vancouver student, you are encouraged to submit the WSU Vancouver Scholarship Application. This application covers more than 80 scholarships for WSU Vancouver students only.

The 2017/18 application will open in November. Application deadline: March 31.


Application tip

Compose and save your essay in a word-processing app.

To protect yourself against the potential loss of your essay, compose your essay in a Microsoft Word document (or other text editor). Once your essay is complete and saved, select (highlight) the text of your essay, copy it and paste your essay into the online scholarship application form for submission.

WSU Vancouver scholarships listing

Below is a listing of each scholarship that is part of the WSU Vancouver Scholarship Application. With just one application, you are putting your name in the hat for ALL of the scholarships listed below that you are eligible for.

  • Albert C. Angelo, Sr. Endowed Scholarship—Undergraduate WSU Vancouver student enrolled full-time in the Business Administration, Construction Management or Real Estate program with a minimum GPA of 3.5
  • American Association of University Women Vancouver Scholarship—Undergraduate WSU Vancouver student enrolled at least part-time with a minimum GPA of 2.0 who is a female resident of SW Washington
  • American Association of University Women Scholarship (STEM majors)—Undergraduate or graduate WSU Vancouver student enrolled full-time with a minimum GPA of 3.0 who is a female resident of SW Washington and is majoring in math, science, technology or engineering
  • Amphitheater Endowed Scholarship—Undergraduate WSU Vancouver student enrolled full-time with a minimum GPA of 3.0 who is a resident of Clark county
  • Anna and Dwight Sr. Schwab Charitable Foundation Scholarship—Undergraduate or graduate WSU Vancouver student enrolled at least part-time in the nurse faculty track program with a minimum GPA of 2.0
  • Chancellor’s Advisory Council Scholarship—Undergraduate or graduate WSU Vancouver student enrolled at least part-time with a minimum GPA of 2.5 who is a resident of Clark county
  • College of Business Faculty and Staff – Ashbaugh Scholarship—Undergraduate WSU Vancouver student enrolled in at least 10 credits per semester with a minimum GPA of 3.0 who has completed 90 semester credits and demonstrated financial need
  • College of Business Summer Scholars—Undergraduate WSU Vancouver student enrolled at least part-time in the College of Business with a minimum GPA of 2.75 and has demonstrated financial need
  • Columbia Machine Electrical Engineering Scholarship—Undergraduate WSU Vancouver student enrolled full-time in Electrical Engineering with a minimum GPA of 3.2
  • Columbia Machine Mechanical Engineering Scholarship—Undergraduate WSU Vancouver student enrolled full-time in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum GPA of 3.2
  • Dan & Val Ogden Endowed Fellowship in Public Affairs—Graduate WSU Vancouver student enrolled at least part-time in the MPA program focusing on policy making with a minimum GPA of 3.5 and has demonstrated community involvement
  • Doris Troxel Scholarship—Undergraduate or graduate WSU Vancouver student enrolled full-time in the College of Business with a minimum GPA of 3.2 who is a resident of Clark county
  • E. Faye Volker and George W. Volker Endowed Scholarship—Undergraduate WSU Vancouver student enrolled in at least 9 credits per semester with a minimum GPA of 2.0 who has demonstrated financial need
  • East Vancouver Business Association Scholarship—Undergraduate or graduate WSU Vancouver student enrolled at least part-time with a minimum GPA of 2.0
  • ENCS Faculty and Staff Scholarship—Undergraduate WSU Vancouver student enrolled full-time in Computer Science or Mechanical Engineering with a minimum GPA of 3.2
  • Eric & Elizabeth Schneider Endowed Scholarship—Undergraduate WSU Vancouver student enrolled full-time in Computer Science with a minimum GPA of 2.0 who is from a middle-class income family
  • Glenn Terrell Endowed Scholarship –Business—Undergraduate WSU Vancouver student enrolled in at least 9 credits per semester who is seeking a degree in Business, with a minimum GPA of 3.5 and demonstrated financial need
  • Glenn Terrell Endowed Scholarship – Computer Science—Undergraduate WSU Vancouver student enrolled in at least 9 credits per semester who is seeking a degree in Computer Science, with a minimum GPA of 3.5 and demonstrated financial need
  • Glenn Terrell Endowed Scholarship – Diversity—Undergraduate WSU Vancouver student enrolled in at least 9 credits per semester with a minimum GPA of 3.5 and demonstrated financial need
  • Glenn Terrell Endowed Scholarship – Education—Undergraduate WSU Vancouver student enrolled in at least 9 credits per semester who is seeking a degree in Education, with a minimum GPA of 3.5 and demonstrated financial need
  • Glenn Terrell Endowed Scholarship – Engineering—Undergraduate WSU Vancouver student enrolled in at least 9 credits per semester who is seeking a degree in Engineering, with a minimum GPA of 3.5 and demonstrated financial need
  • Glenn Terrell Endowed Scholarship – Human Development—Undergraduate WSU Vancouver student enrolled in at least 9 credits per semester who is seeking a degree in Human Development, with a minimum GPA of 3.5 and demonstrated financial need
  • Glenn Terrell Endowed Scholarship – Nursing—Undergraduate WSU Vancouver student enrolled in at least 9 credits per semester who is seeking a degree in Nursing, with a minimum GPA of 3.5 and demonstrated financial need

  • Hal and Joan Dengerink Fellowship—Graduate WSU Vancouver student enrolled in at least 6 credits per semester with a minimum GPA of 3.0 who is working with faculty on research
  • Harold F. and Beatrice A. Boutwell Endowed – Scholarship—Undergraduate WSU Vancouver student enrolled at least part-time with a minimum GPA of 3.5 who has demonstrated financial need OR demonstrated community service, leadership, athletics or musical activities
  • Harvey A. Rubin and Gayle Dailey Rubin Endowed Scholarship—Undergraduate WSU Vancouver student enrolled full-time with a minimum GPA of 2.0 and demonstrated financial need
  • Hewlett Packard Endowed Scholarship at WSU Vancouver—Undergraduate WSU Vancouver student enrolled at least part-time in Engineering or Science with a minimum GPA of 3.0 and demonstrated financial need
  • IQ Credit Union Scholarship—Undergraduate WSU Vancouver student enrolled at least part-time with a 2.0 GPA who is a member of IQ Credit Union
  • Isler Northwest LLC Scholarship—Undergraduate or Graduate WSU Vancouver student enrolled in at least 9 credits per semester in Accounting with a minimum GPA of 3.0 
  • John Robert Brown Endowed Scholarship—Undergraduate WSU Vancouver student enrolled full-time with a minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Kathy and Glen Sinclair Endowed Scholarship—Undergraduate WSU Vancouver student enrolled in at least 9 credits per semester with a minimum GPA of 2.0 who is a junior or senior and demonstrated financial need
  • L.M. Hidden Charitable Trust—Undergraduate WSU Vancouver student enrolled full-time with a minimum GPA of 2.5
  • Mackay Sposito Leadership Scholarship—Undergraduate or Graduate WSU Vancouver student enrolled at least part-time with demonstrated financial need, leadership ability and community involvement
  • Major James Allan Scholarship—Undergraduate WSU Vancouver student enrolled at least part-time with a  minimum GPA of 2.5 who is a U.S. citizen and a honorably discharged or retired veteran OR children of former, active or retired officers or enlisted personnel
  • Maxine McReynolds Kirmaier Memorial Scholarship—Undergraduate continuing WSU Vancouver student enrolled full-time, certified Human Development major with a minimum GPA Of 2.5 who is a female resident of SW Washington
  • Michelle Kendrick Memorial Scholarship—Undergraduate or Graduate WSU Vancouver student enrolled at least part-time in Digital Technology and Culture with a minimum GPA of 2.0
  • Millie Patton Tissot Memorial Endowed Scholarship—Undergraduate or Graduate WSU Vancouver student enrolled in at least 3 credits per semester with a minimum GPA of 3.0 who has been diagnosed as hearing impaired and has demonstrated financial need
  • Powell Scholarship for Business Students at WSU Vancouver—Undergraduate WSU Vancouver student enrolled at least part-time in Accounting or Finance with a minimum GPA of 2.0 and demonstrated leadership skills and community involvement
  • Public Affairs Scholarship—Graduate WSU Vancouver student enrolled in at least 3 credits per semester  who has been formally admitted into the MPA program
  • Renee Hoeksel Leadership Award—Undergraduate or Graduate WSU Vancouver student enrolled at least part-time in Nursing with a minimum GPA of 3.0 and demonstrated leadership abilities and financial need
  • Riverview Community Bank Scholarship—Undergraduate WSU Vancouver student enrolled full-time in Business with a minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Robert Gleason Transportation Scholarship—Undergraduate WSU Vancouver student enrolled at least part-time in Business with a minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Ronald P. Hoss Scholarship—Undergraduate or Graduate WSU Vancouver student enrolled full-time in Digital Technology and Culture with a minimum GPA of 2.5 and demonstrated financial need
  • Shirley Mae Nelson Memorial Scholarship—Undergraduate or Graduate WSU Vancouver student enrolled at least part-time in Education with a minimum GPA of 2.5 and demonstrated community involvement
  • Susan Worthy Memorial Scholarship for Community Leadership at WSU Vancouver—Undergraduate WSU Vancouver student enrolled at least part-time with a minimum GPA of 2.0 and demonstrated leadership skills
  • SW WA Contractors Association—Undergraduate WSU Vancouver student enrolled full-time in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum GPA of 3.2
  • Tom M. & Lois McBride Hougan Memorial Endowed Scholarship—Undergraduate or Graduate WSU Vancouver student enrolled at least part-time in Business with a minimum GPA of 3.0 and demonstrated financial need
  • Travel Portland Scholarship—WSU Vancouver student in Hospitality Business Management with a minimum GPA of 2.5 and enrolled in 10 credits per semester, preference given to minority students
  • WaferTech Engineering Scholarship—Undergraduate or Graduate WSU Vancouver student enrolled at least part-time in Engineering or Computer Science with a  minimum GPA of 3.0 who is in at least a junior class standing
  • Women in Action Foundation—Undergraduate or Graduate WSU Vancouver student enrolled in at least 10 credits per semester with a minimum GPA of 3.0 who is a female resident of SW Washington and is striving to change career through education
  • WSU Vancouver Alumni Arts and Sciences Scholarship—Undergraduate or Graduate WSU Vancouver student enrolled in at least 9 credits per semester in the College of Arts and Sciences with a minimum GPA of 2.5
  • WSU Vancouver Alumni Scholarship for Business—Undergraduate or Graduate WSU Vancouver student enrolled in at least 9 credits per semester in Business with a minimum GPA of 2.5
  • WSU Vancouver Alumni Scholarship for Education—Undergraduate or Graduate WSU Vancouver student enrolled in at least 9 credits per semester in Education with a minimum GPA of 2.5
  • WSU Vancouver Alumni Scholarship for Engineering—Undergraduate or Graduate WSU Vancouver student enrolled in at least 9 credits per semester in Engineering with a minimum GPA of 2.5
  • WSU Vancouver Alumni Scholarship for Human Development—Undergraduate or Graduate WSU Vancouver student enrolled in at least 9 credits per semester in Human Development with a minimum GPA of 2.5
