Application tip

Compose and save your essay in a word-processing app.

To protect yourself against the potential loss of your essay, compose your essay in a Microsoft Word document (or other text editor). Once your essay is complete and saved, select (highlight) the text of your essay, copy it and paste your essay into the online scholarship application form for submission.

WSU Vancouver scholarships listing

Below is a listing of each scholarship that is part of the WSU Vancouver Scholarship Application. With just one application, you are putting your name in the hat for ALL of the scholarships listed below that you are eligible for.

  • Albert C. Angelo, Sr. Endowed Scholarship—Undergraduate WSU Vancouver student enrolled full-time in the Business Administration, Construction Management or Real Estate program with a minimum GPA of 3.5 who has demonstrated financial need
  • American Association of University Women Scholarship (STEM majors)—Undergraduate or graduate WSU Vancouver student enrolled full-time with a minimum GPA of 3.0 who is a female resident of SW Washington and is majoring in math, science, technology or engineering
  • American Association of University Women Vancouver Scholarship—Undergraduate or graduate WSU Vancouver student enrolled at least 9 credits per semester with a minimum GPA of 2.0 who is a female
  • Amphitheater Endowed Scholarship—Undergraduate WSU Vancouver student enrolled full-time with a minimum GPA of 3.0 who is a resident of Clark county
  • Anna and Dwight Sr. Schwab Charitable Foundation Scholarship—Undergraduate or graduate WSU Vancouver student enrolled at least part-time in the nurse faculty track program with a minimum GPA of 2.0
  • Bill C. Wilson Education Scholarship—Undergraduate or graduate WSU Vancouver education student enrolled at least part-time with a minimum GPA of 2.5
  • Business Growth MAP Scholarship—Undergraduate WSU Vancouver Business student who is a junior who is enrolled at least part-time with a minimum GPA of 3.0, who plans to enroll in ENTRP 492 and plans to start own business in the next five years
  • Carson College of Business Accounting Scholarship—Undergraduate or graduate WSU Vancouver student who is enrolled in at least 5 credits per semester in Accounting with a minimum GPA of 3.0 who is not a recipient of state waiver tuition program
  • Chancellor’s Advisory Council Scholarship—Undergraduate or graduate WSU Vancouver student enrolled at least part-time with a minimum GPA of 2.5 who is a resident of Clark county
  • College of Business Faculty and Staff – Ashbaugh Scholarship—Undergraduate WSU Vancouver student enrolled in at least 10 credits per semester with a minimum GPA of 3.0 who has completed 90 semester credits and demonstrated financial need
  • Columbia Machine Electrical Engineering Scholarship—Undergraduate WSU Vancouver student enrolled full-time in Electrical Engineering with a minimum GPA of 3.2
  • Columbia Machine Mechanical Engineering Scholarship—Undergraduate WSU Vancouver student enrolled full-time in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum GPA of 3.2
  • Comcast Professional Sales Scholarship—Undergraduate or graduate WSU Vancouver student in Business with a minimum GPA of 3.0 who has taken or will take MKTG 379
  • Cougar Creek & Salmon Creek Confluence Fellowship—Graduate WSU Vancouver student in Environmental Science who is enrolled at least part-time with a minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Dan & Val Ogden Endowed Fellowship in Public Affairs—Graduate WSU Vancouver student enrolled at least part-time in the MPA program focusing on policy making with a minimum GPA of 3.5 who has demonstrated community involvement and financial need
  • Daniel and Christine Wamsley Scholarship at WSU Vancouver—WSU Vancouver student who is seeking a degree in Entrepreneurial Business or in the BG MAP program who is enrolled in at least 10 credits per semester with a minimum GPA of 3.0, who is a resident of SW Washington and has demonstrated financial need
  • DeLap LLP Accounting Scholarship—Undergraduate or graduate WSU Vancouver student who is enrolled in at least 5 credits per semester in Accounting with a minimum GPA of 3.0 who is not a recipient of state waiver tuition program
  • Donna Roberge Gerontology Scholarship—Undergraduate WSU Vancouver student who is a senior who is enrolled at least part-time with a minimum GPA of 3.0 who is pursuing a gerontology certificate
  • Dr. H.A. "Hal" and Joan Dengerink Graduate Endowed Fellowship at WSU Vancouver—Graduate WSU Vancouver student enrolled in at least 6 credits per semester with a minimum GPA of 3.0 who is working with faculty on research
  • Dr. Joseph Cote Endowed Business Scholarship—Undergraduate WSU Vancouver Business student who is a junior or senior, who is enrolled in at least 9 credits per semester with a minimum GPA of 3.2, who has demonstrated financial need and has future plans as an entrepreneur
  • E. Faye Volker and George W. Volker Endowed Scholarship—Undergraduate WSU Vancouver student enrolled in at least 9 credits per semester with a minimum GPA of 2.0 who has demonstrated financial need
  • East Vancouver Business Association Scholarship—Undergraduate or graduate WSU Vancouver student enrolled at least part-time with a minimum GPA of 2.0
  • Eric & Elizabeth Schneider Endowed Scholarship—Undergraduate WSU Vancouver student seeking a degree in Computer Science who is enrolled in at least 10 credits per semester with a minimum GPA of 2.0 and has demonstrated financial need
  • Glen D. and Katherine Sinclair Endowed Scholarship—Undergraduate WSU Vancouver student enrolled in at least 9 credits per semester with a minimum GPA of 2.0 who is a junior or senior and demonstrated financial need
  • Glenn Terrell Endowed Scholarship, Business—Undergraduate WSU Vancouver student enrolled in at least 9 credits per semester who is seeking a degree in Business, with a minimum GPA of 3.5 and demonstrated financial need
  • Glenn Terrell Endowed Scholarship, Computer Science—Undergraduate WSU Vancouver student enrolled in at least 9 credits per semester who is seeking a degree in Computer Science, with a minimum GPA of 3.5 and demonstrated financial need
  • Glenn Terrell Endowed Scholarship, Diversity—Undergraduate WSU Vancouver student enrolled in at least 9 credits per semester with a minimum GPA of 3.5 and demonstrated financial need

  • Harvey A. Rubin and Gayle Dailey Rubin Endowed Scholarship—Undergraduate WSU Vancouver student enrolled full-time with a minimum GPA of 2.0 and demonstrated financial need
  • Helene and Nat Schoen Endowed Business Scholarship—Undergraduate or graduate WSU Vancouver Carson College of Business student who is enrolled in at least 6 credits per semester with a minimum GPA of 2.8
  • Hewlett Packard Endowed Scholarship at WSU Vancouver—Undergraduate WSU Vancouver student enrolled full-time in Engineering or Science with a minimum GPA of 3.0 and demonstrated financial need
  • Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals HBM Scholarship—Undergraduate WSU Vancouver Hospitality Business Management student who is a junior or senior who is enrolled full-time
  • John Robert Brown Endowed Scholarship—Undergraduate WSU Vancouver student enrolled full-time with a minimum GPA of 3.0
  • L.M. Hidden Charitable Trust—Undergraduate WSU Vancouver student enrolled full-time with a minimum GPA of 2.5
  • Major James Allan Scholarship—Undergraduate WSU Vancouver student enrolled at least part-time with a minimum GPA of 2.5 who is a U.S. citizen and a honorably discharged or retired veteran OR children of former, active or retired officers or enlisted personnel
  • Marguerite Black Memorial Endowed Scholarship—Undergraduate or graduate WSU Vancouver student who is enrolled at least part-time with a minimum GPA of 2.0 who is majoring in education or nursing
  • Maxine McReynolds Kirmaier Memorial Scholarship—Continuing undergraduate WSU Vancouver student who is certified in a Human Development major, who is enrolled full-time with a minimum GPA of 2.5, who is a female resident of SW Washington, and has demonstrated financial need
  • Michelle Kendrick Memorial Scholarship—Undergraduate or graduate WSU Vancouver student enrolled at least part-time in Digital Technology and Culture with a minimum GPA of 2.0
  • Millie Patton Tissot Memorial Endowed Scholarship—Undergraduate or graduate WSU Vancouver student enrolled in at least 3 credits per semester with a minimum GPA of 3.0 who has been diagnosed as hearing impaired and has demonstrated financial need
  • MIS Alumni Scholarship—Undergraduate or graduate WSU Vancouver student who has a MIS major who is enrolld full-time
  • Opsahl Dawson Accounting Scholarship—Undergraduate or graduate WSU Vancouver student who is enrolled in at least 5 credits per semester in Accounting with a minimum GPA of 3.0 who is not a recipient of state waiver tuition program
  • Perkins and Company, PC Accounting Scholarship—Undergraduate or graduate WSU Vancouver student who is enrolled in at least 5 credits per semester in Accounting with a minimum GPA of 3.0 who is not a recipient of state waiver tuition program
  • Professional Sales Scholarship—Undergraduate or graduate WSU Vancouver student in Business with a minimum GPA of 3.0 who has taken or will take MKTG 379
  • Renee Hoeksel Leadership Award—Undergraduate or graduate WSU Vancouver student enrolled at least part-time in Nursing with a minimum GPA of 3.0 and demonstrated leadership abilities and financial need
  • Riverview Community Bank Scholarship—Undergraduate WSU Vancouver student enrolled full-time in Business with a minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Robert and Elsa Gleason Endowed Scholarship—Undergraduate or graduate WSU Vancouver student enrolled at least part-time in the College of Business with a minimum GPA of 2.0 and has demonstrated financial need
  • Ronald P. Hoss Scholarship—Undergraduate or graduate WSU Vancouver student enrolled full-time in Digital Technology and Culture with a minimum GPA of 2.5 and demonstrated financial need
  • Shirley Mae Nelson Memorial Scholarship—Undergraduate or graduate WSU Vancouver student enrolled at least part-time in Education with a minimum GPA of 2.5 and demonstrated community involvement
  • Susan Worthy Memorial Scholarship for Community Leadership at WSU Vancouver—Undergraduate WSU Vancouver student enrolled at least part-time with a minimum GPA of 2.0 and demonstrated leadership skills
  • Taylor Larson Business Scholarship—Undergraduate or graduate WSU Vancouver certified Business student who is enrolled at least part-time with a minimum GPA of 2.0
  • The Quarry Senior Living Hospitality Business Management Scholarship—Undergraduate WSU Vancouver Hospitality Business Management student who is a junior or senior who is enrolled full-time
  • Tom M. & Lois McBride Hougan Memorial Endowed Scholarship—Undergraduate or graduate WSU Vancouver student enrolled at least part-time in Business with a minimum GPA of 3.0 and demonstrated financial need
  • Travel Portland Hospitality Business Management Scholarship—WSU Vancouver student in Hospitality Business Management with a minimum GPA of 2.5 and enrolled in 10 credits per semester, preference given to minority students
  • UPS Professional Sales Scholarship—Undergraduate or graduate WSU Vancouver student in Business with a minimum GPA of 3.0 who has taken or will take MKTG 379
  • WaferTech Engineering Scholarship—Undergraduate or graduate WSU Vancouver student enrolled at least part-time in the School of Engineering and Computer Science with a minimum GPA of 3.0 who is in at least a junior class standing
