Welcome VanCougs! Congratulations again on your offer of admission to WSU Vancouver. You’ll make a great addition to the Cougar family. Here are your next steps:
Step 1: Confirm your enrollment
If you haven't already, accept your offer of admission by paying the $200 tuition deposit.
Step 2: Take placement exams
Before meeting with an advisor, you must complete the ALEKS Math Placement Exam and the Writing Placement Exam or submit documentation (such as transcripts) of qualifying math and writing credit. These exams will help your advisor assess which math and English courses are right for you.
Step 3: Prepare for advising
Submit transcripts for any college credit you have earned, as well as Advanced Placement scores, to the WSU Vancouver Office of Admissions. Review the degrees and programs offered at WSU Vancouver and identify two to three majors that align with your skills, interests and career goals.
Step 4: Complete the New Student Checklist
Ease your transition by reviewing the resources and to-do items on the New Student Checklist.
Step 5: Attend ROAR New Student Orientation program
ROAR New Student Orientation is a three-part program taking place over the summer. You should plan to attend each day unless you have an unavoidable conflict. The program dates are:
- Friday, June 25
- Friday, July 16
- Friday, Aug. 6
