Resources to Support Fundamental Needs

Student Resource Navigator

To schedule a one-on-one meeting with our Student Resource Navigator, please email van.fundamentalneeds@wsu.edu, or call 360-546-9013.

To aid students who need assistance accessing resources to support their fundamental needs, WSU Vancouver is now providing a part-time Student Resource Navigator who works one-on-one with students to identify needs and connect them with campus and community resources.

The Student Resource Navigator supports students' academic persistence by providing access to resources regarding:

  • Housing*
  • Food
  • Technology/Internet Access
  • Childcare & Transportation

*In 2021, the college was awarded a WA SBCTC Supporting Students Experiencing Homelessness Grant (SSEH) to support students at-risk of or currently experiencing homelessness. The Grant runs from July 2021 to July 2023. Students may be eligible for additional funds to support housing and related needs.
