WSU scholarships and awards

The WSU General Scholarship Application, due Jan. 31, lets you apply for many scholarships systemwide at once, including more than 100 scholarships for WSU Vancouver students only. You might qualify for some of these funds based on your academic record and grades, financial need, group affiliation or a combination of the three.

If you qualify, the following scholarships are automatically awarded when you are offered admission to WSU Vancouver:

Community College President's Award

The Community College President's Award program offers transfer students significant support toward their college education at WSU Vancouver.

Cougar Commitment Award

The Cougar Commitment Award assists some students whose Pell Grant does not quite cover the full cost of tuition.

PDX Tuition Advantage

The PDX Tuition Advantage offers residents of Oregon's Clackamas, Multnomah and Washington counties reduced tuition, equal to in-state rates. Enroll as an undergraduate degree-seeking student and you may be eligible to save almost $15,000 a year, renewable for three years.

Vancouver Academic Achievement Award

The Vancouver Academic Achievement Award recognizes select Washington resident high school students who demonstrate academic excellence.

Vancouver Transfer Achievement Award

The Vancouver Transfer Achievement Award recognizes exceptional incoming transfer students who are Washington state residents with scholarships of up to $4,800 over three years.

Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE)

With the Western Undergraduate Exchange, an out-of-state student may receive a $11,000 award, renewable for up to an additional three years.

Multiple international award programs are available to international students.
