Student leadership and employment

Develop your unique leadership qualities through leadership programming and involvement opportunities. Attend a Cougar Leadership Program event, join a student organization, be a voice for student interests through student government or welcome new students to campus.

Your involvement is integral to the success of the Office of Student Involvement and our student organizations.

Leadership programs

Cougar Leadership Program

Meet and network with student leaders. Expand your knowledge and understanding of the skills necessary to be an effective leader in your personal, academic and professional spheres. Several programs are planned throughout the year.

Student Ambassador Program

Join a group of outstanding students selected to represent WSU Vancouver to prospective students, their families and our community. Develop valuable leadership skills and meaningful connections.

Student Leadership Recognition Program

Coordinate event details and honor fellow students who have exhibited excellence in leadership at WSU Vancouver. Be recognized for your own contributions to the campus and the broader community.

Women of Distinction

Join us in planning Women of Distinction, a celebration of Women’s History Month, observed each year in March. Recognize women who have made a difference in the lives of others.
