Post-9/11 GI Bill and other programs
The Department of Veterans Affairs administers a variety of education benefit programs. Many Veterans and active duty personnel can qualify for more than one education benefits program, including the:
- Chapter 33: Post 9/11 GI Bill
- Chapter 30: Montgomery GI Bill-Active Duty (MGIV-AD)
- Chapter 1606: Montgomery GI Bill-Selected Reserves (MGIB-SR)
- Chapter 1607: Reserve Educational Assistance Program (REAP)
- Chapter 35: Survivors and Dependents Educational Assistance Program (DEA)
- Chapter 32: Veterans Educational Assistance Program (VEAP-Vietnam Era)

Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment VetSuccess Program
The Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment (VR&E) VetSuccess Program is authorized by Congress under Title 38, Code of Federal Regulations, Chapter 31. It is sometimes referred to as the Chapter 31 program. The VetSuccess program assists Veterans with service-connected disabilities to prepare for, find, and keep suitable jobs.
