3 p.m.—Welcome and event overview

Chancellor Mel Netzhammer, Student Body President Armando Antonino and Intercultural Outreach and Retention Leader Joyce Musafiri

Kick off the afternoon with an introduction to WSU Vancouver. You'll hear from the Chancellor and two student leaders about the history and mission of WSU Vancouver, student life and campus resources. You'll also get a preview the rest of the day's agenda, so you can choose which sessions to attend.

3:10 p.m.—Admissions presentation

Colton Lindelof, Assistant Director of Admissions

Whether you're ready to apply now or plan ahead, this session will introduce you to WSU Vancouver admission requirements, application next steps and important deadlines.

3:20 p.m.—Live admissions Q&A

Have questions about how and when to apply? Ask the WSU Vancouver Admissions Counselors—they will answer you live!

3:25 p.m.—Financial aid presentation

Kim McDougal, Financial Aid Outreach Counselor

Learn how YOU can afford college. Understanding the costs of college and how to access financial aid can be daunting, but this session will break it down for you. You'll get tips on submitting the FAFSA or WASFA, and learn the difference between grants, scholarships, work study and loans.

3:45 p.m.—Live financial aid Q&A

Don't worry... You're not the only one with more financial aid questions. Ask the experts during this live Q&A session and learn how WSU Vancouver can help you through the process of applying for aid.

4 p.m.—Academic break-out sessions with live Q&A

What do you want to major in? What makes WSU Vancouver's academic programs unique? How will a given major prepare you to achieve your goals? Faculty, staff and students from Southwest Washington's only tier 1 research university will tell you about their programs, and how to succeed through classes, community-building and internships.
